Rosalia goes over the top

We know you will be excited to know that the last Badger has scored the highest of anyone on the ACT. Rosalia made a 31 with a perfect score of 36 in Reading! Her other sections were the following: 31 in English, 29 in Math, and 27 on the Science reasoning. Now, David , I know you probably did better in Math and maybe in Science, but you can't take away that 36. This will help us (we hope) with a tuition break. Rosalia is planning on doing early admissions and she is getting everything together for Dec. 1st. All of this should refute the argument that the youngest is the dumbest (which I have heard to my horror).

Trim work

The walls have been floated and taped, stomped, dragged and orange peeled, and the trim work is going up. Next, the cabinets, paint, lights, hardware, and finally the floors. We'll see how long it takes...the goal is Christmas!
The first picture is the back door, the second the bay window dining area, the third is the view into the bedroom from the kitchen (you can see the door to the heating unit, the closet opening, and the window). The last picture shows the ceiling in the living room.

The walls are going up on the inside

Here are some views of the addition with the sheet rock. Mudding and taping will be next week. The rooms look small again when you can't see through the walls. The first picture is of the living room. The second one is the kitchen looking at the laundry room, the third islooking our onto the patio from the living room, the fourth is a view into the bedroom from the kitchen, ( you can see where her heating and air conditioning unit is right as you enter her room) and the fifth picture shows the view from the laundry room through the kitchen and into the little entrance where the front door is and the door to our house. The window on the right is the living room window.

Messages for Rosalia

Rosalia is selling sponsorships for soccer this year and I want to have her family represented. I need each of her brothers and sisters to send her a message wishing her a good season, so that we can post it at the game. Would you just put your messages into the comments on this blog and then I'll copy them for her. I need them by Sunday night, I know this is short notice, but thanks :) Love, MOM

T.J.'s Friends

T.J.,I took this picture of Chuck and Courtney at the football game last week and I thought you might like to see them. They also have a little boy who wasn't with them at the time.

Kimberly and Cooper

Here are pictures of Kimberly and Cooper on their visit to see us. Kimberly had lots of dental work done and it was cheaper to come home. It was a real treat to see them.
