Getting Together

Shane was blessed at home on July 11th with just his immediate family. Ted was able to make it and his Uncle Clint arrived just in time from Montana on a motorcycle!

I liked this picture of Taber and Rebecca cooking in the kitchen. I think we need to find Taber a bigger apron!

This was taken at Shane's blessing in the Flygare home. T.J. and Michelle, Rosalia, Taber, and Rebecca were able to come.

This last picture is of Eric and Cindy the night before their departure from Utah for the wilds of Virginia! We missed you!

Baby Shane

Here is the main man, Shane Reed Flygare. He is not quite two weeks in this picture.
Jessica kissing her little baby who is dressedin one of Aunt Kimberly's baby outfits.

I like this picture because Shane is looking right at his mother. Jessica is a supermom. This baby has gone from 6 lbs 10 oz at birth to 8 lbs 1 oz at his two week check-up!

Organizing Rosalia

Rosalia moved in to her apartment and promptly went on vacation, so when I arrived we spent a day, a night , and a morning re-organizing and decorating her space. I think you can appreciate the difference.

The posters on the wall are of Monets and a French photographer whose name I've forgotten. The black and white contrasted nicely with the impressionistic prints.

Nana and Grandpa Visit in June

I finished six quilts in June. Here is a pattern called "Stack and Whack" or Kalidescope. The roses on the left are Rosalia's graduation quilt and the one on the right is Shane's baby quilt. Jessica requested black, white, and red. This one should have Shane's little eyes twirling!
My parents visited in June on Father's Day and my mother helped me plant flowers. It was nice to have them come over for a short, but relaxing visit.
This is one of the Father's Day shirts I gave Daddy. He received several compliments.

Dad's New Car

Here is the new Buick. I think Ted is having fun with all his new gadgets.
