Spring is Here!

The azaelas are blooming and spring has come to Louisiana. We enjoyed Brooklyn's birthday and we are looking forward to all of our company. My sister Janet comes next week for a few days. We have our spring break right now. Then Rebecca returns from Madrid on April 8th. T.J., Bethany, Kimberly, (plus babies)and Stephen (and Family) are planning on coming down to see her. With Rosalia that will make six ch ildren here at home.

My play was successful at the Speech and Play Festival even though we didn't win anything, however, two of my actors won $1,000 scholarships to McNeese and they were very excited. We did get a good review and an enthusiastic audience so we are fired up for next year.

The last nine weeks of school is here (Rosalia has only 6 more weeks) and I have a Student Council Workshop, Student Council Week, Student Council elections, and one more play for the school by my Acting One class. Rosalia's last day of school is May 9th and her graduation is May 16th.

Betty in her living room and flowers from Bruce in the dining area.

.
Flowers from Bruce and Janet to me, but the florist got the message garbled, "You're to sweet for candy, love Bongar!" I added the exclamation point, but kept all the misspellings! I made them call to make sure they had the right person since I have never in my life been told I was sweeter than candy!

Betty's new bedroom. We took away the two big euro pillows in the back. They were too much to manage. Her big walk in closet is to the left.
Ted setting up her computer. The shelf with the stuffed animals is right behind him. This is in the L to the right of her bed.
Betty's new bath room with shower.
Kitchen with glass fronted cabinets.

Looking from her bedroom as by the bed into the kitchen dining area. I wasn't able to get a picture of her dining area uploaded or a picture of her other chair in the living room. Maybe next time!

Betty's Move

This is her bureau just inside her room.
Her stuffed animals on the shelf opposite her computer.
The kitchen stove, etc.
Her living room.
Living room and china cabinet. I am sorry that these pictures are so haphazard. I am having trouble loading pictures and I didn't get them in the sequence that I wanted. We moved Betty on Saturday and then it took the next three days to unload and unpack and we still do not have everything unpacked. Ted even had to move his Midget out of the garage!

Moving Day approaches

This weekend because of Mardi Gras we have a holiday of four days so we will be moving your Grandmother to DeRidder. The plan is to go over on Friday and load her up on Saturday and drive back Saturday night. We have Stake Conference so we need to be back. The Relief Society sisters will be actually packing her up. I asked them to please label all boxes! We will unpack her on Monday and move her in and then put the finishing touches on the unpacking on Tuesday. Pray it all goes smoothly! The addition should be finished this week. The electrician still has to hook up the power to ours which is going to be tricky, and then the heating and airconditioning man comes back. Then we'll check things over (Ted will seal the tile) and clean up and be ready for the move! It has been raining so the yard will be worked on later (bummer), but no one is going to run around in it anyway! I'll post pictures of the move next week.
