A few more pictures in NYC

After graduation outside the Lincoln Center.

Taken after the awards ceremony the day before graduation at the college.

I just wanted a picture of David by the sign outside the school.

At the reception after the awards ceremony.

Public Transportation

We took the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty and just to ride across the harbor. Breyton took a picture of me as I took one of him on the ferry going home.

Here is a picture up close. I remember going to see her and climbing up the inside of the statue. I am not sure we went into the arm and I think I was about nine or ten years old.

Waiting for the subway. On the other side of the fence is the huge yard and building where the trains are repaired.

Breyton and David on the subway going downtown with some interesting seatmates.

Checking the subway schedule for the next available train.

Evie and T.J. on the Express bus on the way to the subway. This should have been first before the subway pictures.

This is where David dropped us off in the Bronx to go to an Italian restaurant on the day we arrived. The restaurant is on the left and they are watching David go park on the right.
These pictures are in reverse order.

Botanical Gardens

David took us to the Botanical Gardens straight from the airport! And here are some of the views. I like to use these pictures for wall paper on my computer.

David's Graduation

The new Graduate, Dr. David Best Badger at the Lincoln Center.
This is the day before after the awards ceremony.

And this is at the upscale Mexican restaurant where we celebrated David's graduation.

T.J. came from Colorado to support his brother.

David's Graduation

This picture was taken at the Lincoln Center just after graduation. The new Dr. David Best Badger.

The blue and white tube is the actual diploma.

A hug from his biggest supporter for these four years.

Outside Albert Einstein Medical School.

This was taken the day before right after the awards ceremony at the college. David got the Dean's Recognition Award and a research award in radiology.

Current pictures of us for Rebecca

Becca wanted some current pictures of us, so Mark took these.

I think your Daddy looks great.

But, I am looking older than I think of myself inside. Oh, well, sait la vie!

A visit with Eric, Cindy, and Noah in Lafayette, LA

This is the view from the living room down the stairs to the front door. The bottom floor has a one bedroom apartment, the middle has two bedrooms, and the top three bedrooms. They are on the middle floor. I know Cindy will post more pictures later, but I just had to sneak these in at the beginning of the move.

The brass bed set up in the master bedroom which has a bathroom and then beyond it a very large walk-in closet.

The opposite side of the living room. There is a little porch on the other side of the window behind them. You can see the dining area in the back on the right.

The dining area with a hat for Cindy to wear to the pool. The grounds are very nicely landscaped and the pool looks like it will be fun this summer.

The kitchen is behind Cindy with a pass through. The second bathroom and bedroom are down a hall around the corner to the right. I know they will put up more perfect pictures soon. We had fun visiting and they are only two hours away! Eric has the midget in his little one car garage. He plans to drive it to work so Cindy will have a car.
