Easter Sunday

Pam and Courtney Anderson visited us this week. Drew and Alyssa were so excited to see their Gammie and Auntie.

The bookcase looks so organized and I put the Mexican tea set on the table. I like the golden glow of the room. Very cheerful and I have had fun finding pictures to put on the walls to go with the yellow. Tracy did a wonderful job painting and getting everything done. I didn't end up doing much. You can look at her blog and see the before pictures. These pictures show my latest changes.

Flowers and butterflies

The stone rabbit that my mother gave me with the Louisiana Iris. I know its real name, but I can't spell it.

This is the climbing rose bush in the front and it has climbed into the crepe myrtle tree.

Here I am with my ninth grade students in front of our butterfly wall. We collected 1,000 butterflies to donate to the Holocaust Museum Houston. The boy in the blue jacket is David Wilber's son Brien.

Beaumont Art League
