Celebrating Breyton's BIrthday

We celebrated Breyton's birthday a week early with a chocolate mouse an strawberry cake from a great local bakery.

Here is another train view. Jana may know the building, but I forget.
Since there are not enough pictures of Jana on her blog. I'm making certain that I include her in ours. She is certainly a wonderful mom.

Bontanical Garden Train show

Breyton, Evie, Jana and I went to the NYC Botanical Gardens to view the trains and the historical buildings from NYC made all of natural materials. The men stayed home to watch football. We did make it back in time to see the last of the BYU game. David said that it was the worst game that BYU didn't lose!
Breyton was fascinated by all the different trains and settings.

Breyton got to do several activities and here is Jana taking a picture of him. I put this in to show Kimberly that Jana loves the wrap she sent.

Here is Breyton peeking out of the Gingerbread house. He decorated a cookie and ate it, too.

Broadway and Wicked

We really enjoyed Wicked and we had the best seats. I did however realize that theater is just as excellent in Utah or California. Broadway just commands the best price.

Evie wearing the outfit sent by her Aunt Kimberly.

Little Evelyn's Blessing

We were surprised and delighted to find that as soon as we arrived in NYC baby Evie was blessed. We got to meet David and Jana's friends and that was a rare opportunity since our visit did not include Sunday.
Mother and daughter

The two Evelyns!

Virginia, we finally made it!

Eric and Cindy have a great location and a cute little house. The whole neighborhood is nice and spacious.
Here is a view out a window in their living room that looks out the side. You can tell that Cindy is getting closer. Only a month away until Dec. 22nd!

In this scene from Twelfth Night Olivia (right) declares her love for Cesario/Viola (left). We rented the backdrop and it made a world of difference.

My birthday and the cast of Twelfth Night

Here is the cast of Twelfth Night. We worked hard of two months on this production. It was in a thirties style (except our military uniforms)
Flowers for my birthday. Can't say that I feel different, but I am noticing new wrinkles!

Homecoming, etc.

Here I am outside the gym at the Homecoming dance. It took us over 12 hours to decorate!
Here is the dragon that we used for a background and some of my students dressed for Rock 'n Roll dress up day.

This is our first place door. We had a fog machine behind the door with "smoke" coming out from underneath the door and we played Moussoursky's Night on Bald Mountain, too. Your dad said the judges really liked the drama!

Here is Mrs. Shirley's room with her quote. This is for Kimberly.

This is New Orleans on Canal where I went for a Differentiation Seminar. I posed with Flat Stanley!
